Live from Japan...

Hi, everyone! I have made it to the land of the rising sun safely and soundly. As is usually the case here, I am waking up at 2:15 every morning. You would think I would have the fitness room all to myself at that hour, but no...

Weather here is a lot like HSV: rainy/misty/windy and in the 40s. I found Nirvana yesterday: a 7-11. They not only sell ham and cheese sandwiches they also sell Coke Zeroes. I felt like I hit the lottery :) After a dinner of raw octopus and raw somethingoranother, ham and cheese sandwhiches washed down with a lukewarm Coke Zero never tasted so good! I went to Roppongi last night with my general to shop for my nieces. It was quite fun explaining to the general what "Hello Kitty" was and then watch him comb through a Japanese version of Wal-Mart in order to find Hello Kitty backpacks. While we didn't find the requested backpacks, the general did find Hello Kitty alarm clocks which should certainly please my nieces.

Gotta go! Can't figure out how to post pictures on this computer. Till next time...ME
